Last Day of our long vacation; Day 9: 

We were done with our breakfast early and requested the reception a late check out, so that we could take a grand walk in Pike's Market place once again as we hadn't got to explore it really well the first time.


We took the Monorail from Space Needle to Pike's place. Kids loved it, So did we :).

We walked around the market looking for some quick bites we have never tried before.

So, we qued up(10-15minutes) at Piroshky; a russian bakery. Piroshky, meaning, small pastries with meat, cheese, or vegetable filling.

And then we tasted the awesome Turkish sweet, Bakhlawa.. toooo sweeeet but loved it anyways. hmmmm..

Bk to Westfield south centre mall .....

N finally, bk to home sweet home at 11:30pm.


Woaw! That was quite an awesome vacation..

Day 8:

So, it was a big day. We had loads to go sightseeing in the downtown itself(Seattle). 

After the breakfast at our hotel, We decided to extend our stay in the same hotel for another night. Just was too overwhelmed with the location of our room.

Once done with breakfast, we packed and moved on to "Space Needle" and "Chihuly Gardens"

Space needle, had a lot of history about it builders as we walked to board the historic lift in the building which took us to heights for an awesome view of Seattle. ;) Myself, and Doniv also managed to get into the revolving hotel withing the building. It was exciting to step you feet, one on the stable floor of the hotel, while the other on the revolving side.

And then to Chihuly gardens. Never had I seen an art like this before.. and that too in such vast collections. The garden is entirely made of glass plants and flowers, and amazing art vases, etc.

We were lucky enough to even witness a demo from the Chihuly university students on how to make a coloured glass vase right from scratch. 

We then took a quick visit to Chinatown. Uwajimaya village for buying some gifts/toys.

Lunner at Shilla( Korean restaurant) in Uwajimaya village. Been waiting since long for korean food. Was happy found it right around the market

Dropped by to Westfield south centre mall. The mall seemed to be much much bigger than Great Mall, Milpitas.

Doniv then spotted his usual craze, Game alley and somehow convinced Vinu to get in there. But ultimately, we all had fun at Round1 video games.
And now it was that time, when Davin couldn't resist his sleep. And this is when it starts getting stressful as he starts to get cranky over everything. So, we decided to quickly get back to our hotel. But as we were walking towards our car, there were few policemen standing at the doorway and Davin got all excited and started to scream.. "POLICE, POLICE... MUMMY?? PAPPA?? LOOK LOOK POLICE POLICE". We were startled, while the nice officer walked towards us and gave a "Junior Officer" sticker to Davin. He was soo proud of it. Wonder why he is soooo hrilled about POlicemen.. 



This would be our last night in Seattle :(. One beautiful city; The Emerald city..

Day 7:

Began our day with an amazing and yet Free breakfast at four points.. Coupons of $11CAD per person to choose from menu. Gud deal ;)
Our menu :
-Benedict (2)
-Four points Canadian breakfasts(2)

We wanted to take a brake and go out, but not sightseeing this time.. After a lot of thought, we decided to take our kids to "Zootopia" at Cineplex in Kamloops 

After that, we decided to get bk to Seattle. At the border we had mixed feelings...
Our Vacation is Overrrr.. :(
But yea, enough of it .. and we need to get back home.. 

linner at 'Taste of India', Bellingham. USA 😛 . Now, this time, food really good. Got fixed on our biryani.. :)


We were now in Seattle. We still had quite a few things to explore in Seattle, So we check in in one of the hotels in downtown.silver cloud inn, Seattle(lake Union). 
Though skeptical at first, the hotel was not bad at all. We Got an awesome room in the 3rd floor. (337), probably, the best of all the hotels we stayed in soo far..The hotel had a balcony which straight led to an open terrace. It was beautiful to watch the road and the lake across before we went to bed.

However, before goin to bed, we did wanna see the night in downtown. Especialy from a far view, we could see this big lit-up giant Wheel and wanted to go there.. and so we did.

That was a lovely evening.. :)

Day 6:

Checked out and hit a quick visit to Shannon falls which is like 4 minutes drive

Stopped by whistler blackcomb ski resort to play in snow.

Moved in to banff national park; n found a creek n played in it. Pembarton creek.😃 The creek was soo irresistible that I just cdn't be without getting down there. Dragged in the kids and vinu  too was forced to join us when we denied to go up without him coming down for once ;)

Then as we drove to Whistler, there's this sudden scenic change, to "Covered with snow". Halt for pictures again at amazing Frozen Duffy lake. A very small end of the lake was still waters. That part of the lake was filled with logs, was green, was beautiful. Probably the most beautiful waters I have ever seen personally.

Fraser lake(deers,green water)... WOAW!!!

Lunner at KFC in Kamloops, Stay tonight at 'Kamloops'. four points by Sheraton 
Had a great time in the pool which also had a tube slide😍. Yeay!!
